Instruction Guide on how to make your own Phrame!
Materials
· Phragmite leaves
· Phragmite stems
· Hot glue gun (Using adult supervision for kids.)
· Scissors
· A picture of your choice to add in the middle.
· Gloves (To prevent possible cuts. Preferred)

step one
Cut all of your phragmite leaves to the length you prefer and collect about 16 leaves depending on how big you want to make your frame. The one we made had about 8 leaves. Then cut 4 equal pieces of the phragmite stem a bit longer then your leaves. They will hold the frame together.
Step two
Start weaving your pieces together.

Step three
Take a stem and place it on one side. Then take your hot glue gun and with the edges of the leaves, glue it to the stem.
Repeat this step with all of the sides.

step four
Print out a picture and stick it the frame.
TIPS- how to profect your phrame
· Cut your phragmites a little longer then how big you want your phrame to be. This will help when you are gluing because it had an area where it can wrap around the stem.
· Make the stems longer than your leaves.
· When weaving, hold the leaves as close as you can otherwise it will break apart.
